We started to create a piece of work to write a rationale on. We decided that a series of poems would be a good choice as we can create a tone and show imagery more clearly. The poems should also have a clear connection, therefore we decided , child to teen, teen to adult, adult to elderly and elderly to death.
Reflecting back on the 'Seven Norms of Collaboration', I think that our project is going well and we are remaining positive about the task we are set out to do and also, each one of us are putting ideas on the table. In addition to this, we are paying attention to self and others. We made sure that were aware of what we were saying to the other group members. However, we need to improve on posing questions as we didn't ask enough questions to the other group members about their work process. Personally, I think the 'done manifesto' will help our group as it shows that shouldn't procrastinate.
By doing the last task, I now know that I should more positive about what we are going to do. I also have learnt that I need to put more ideas forward, so I will make sure I do those things more in the future.
This time, I worked with different people, which helped because the people I am working with are hardworking and we all equally share the work load. Last time, it was more stressful as the work wasn't equally distributed.
With this project, I have made sure that I don't wait for an idea to come. I have made sure that I keep thinking about different ideas and try to find inspiration from different sources so I can start the poem. I have also tried to put more ideas on the table so we can improve our poems.
A problem we came to in our process, was deciding who to write which poem. To overcome this, we thought of different ideas for the poems individually and chose the the person with a good idea for that poem. Another problem, was the fact that we needed to do four poems but there was only three of us. Therefore, we would do the final poem together so it would be fair. The final problem was that we found it hard to get inspiration. Therefore, we looked at other poems to see how to start our poem and also images which could help to imagine what type of things could have happen to the person.
When it comes to this project, I am least confident in the making of the poem as I'm not that good at making a hidden message or adding techniques without it sounding strange. However, I am most confident about the editing of the poems.
