Can we improve society through arguments?
During our english class, we have begun to discuss how arguments can shape and develop our society. I believe it is very important to have arguments from time to time as I believe it can help people to express their ideas in a clearer way and it can also help society to come across new views and develop their existing ideas. I believe that arguments, debates, disputes, whatever you want to call them, can help improve our society… as long as they are used in the correct way.
If the arguments you are participating in are respectful and show a good amount of logic I believe that we can use these arguments as a way of further developing and improving the society we live in. Without arguments we can’t express our opinions in a more detailed way. Obviously some arguments can be bad but if you use your views in a way that makes sense, then you are on the road to victory!
Personally, I believe that without arguments, we have no expression. Arguments are a good way to express our beliefs and opinions and I believe without this, our society would not have developed into what it is today. If people hadn’t of stood up and argued about their rights or what’s going on in the environment etc., nothing would have changed. I’m a firm believer in the idea that arguments are healthy as it gives a chance for people to fully express themselves. However, I believe that arguments should be used in the correct and respectful way instead of them being hateful.
To conclude, arguments are healthy (to a certain extent) and have helped us to improve the society we live in. By expressing your ideas in a respectful way more positive changes have happened all over the world and will most likely still continue to happen.
